Kumbalangi Nights is a movie which says the story of brotherhood, love, friendship and much more. The music gives you a smoothening feel and guides you to the very soul of the scenes and makes you feel the intensity of the situations. This could be related to the life of the characters. An example which I spotted was the blooming of the pepper plant outside the hero’s house in the final scenes, during the initial scenes the plant was totally dry and half dead. At times the camera absorbed even the minutest elements which represents the soul of a scene. Cinematography of Shyju Khalid is another important side of the movie, which gave life and emotions to the scenes. Madhu C Narayanan gave life to Syam Pushkarans script in a lovely way which minimized the space between the audience and the silver screen. One of the coolest and finest movies in the recent time, that’s what I like to call this movie. Well the movie which I am talking about is none other than Kumbalangi Nights. The reason why I said so is that this movie gives importance to low sounds and dialogues also, but the theater doesn’t brings those sounds to your ears in an audible manner. The theater is not that great to watch these sort of movies and that’s why I mentioned it as local theater. Selection of theater was a great task all the time, but this time since my pocket was having a big hole I went to a local theater in Sivajinagar. For the past one month a movie name has been banging in my head, good reviews all around and guess what my pocket money and time never came to a balance till today.
